Additives
We rarely use any non natural additives in our day to day manufacture but are pleased to offer some of the more usual additives and oils as a service to our customers.
CS Bipol-X
Bipol X has been designed to alter the crystal structure of wax to prevent the leaching
of fragrance oils from the wax. Will absorb fragrance to help eliminate sweating/leeching
on the finished candle can be included at up to a maximum of 7g per 100g wax.
Mix
at 1g per 3ml of fragrance
Very heavily scented candles can be made without the fragrance seeping out of the wax. The CS Bipol-X must be heated to a temperature of around 175f to melt.
Jojoba Oil
We use a percentage of Jojoba oil in many of our all natural wax candles. Increases tackiness and aids burning. Can solidify at low temperatures but blends well at temperatures over 30c Use at inclusion rates up to 5%
Fractionated Coconut Oil
Another natural oil that we use to improve the look and burning qualities of all natural candles. Available as capric/caprylic triglyceride this is a smooth oil that reduces the brittleness of some natural wax/essential oil blends. Available in 100ml and 250ml containers
